A Seamless Design And Build Experience
Buildgen had the exciting opportunity to partner with China Mobile's Hong Kong-based facilities and property team on a competitive tender for their new office space. The project involved a complete strip-out of the existing CAT B client fit-out, returning the space to its shell and core, followed by a full CAT B fit-out to create a modern, functional working environment for China Mobile.
Our team provided a detailed design and build proposal, ensuring that the project covered all necessary aspects, including the partial replacement of mechanical, electrical, and fire detection & prevention systems. We also installed a new, cutting-edge audio-visual system to meet the company's needs for communication and collaboration.
Given the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic, ensuring the new office space was COVID-secure was a top priority. Build Generation worked closely with China Mobile to create a safe and flexible environment, adapting the design to comply with all necessary health and safety guidelines.
